There would be no point in doing anything remotely involving the 1980's without including at least one track by the legendary Post-Punk/New Wave band XTC - tonight I've included two tracks.
Both off their fourth album Black Sea. Rocket From A Bottle and No Language In Our Lungs segued together on the original lp and, like everything the band did, is loaded with ironies. The remarkable song writing abilities of Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding really did set them apart from most bands at the time and have kept them timeless as a result. It's a wonder not more of their material is played on the radio . . . .oh yeah, I forgot - mainstream radio doesn't really play music anymore. Oh well.
Get their albums - download them from iTunes or Amazon.com or get the vinyl. If you don't know anything about them, shame on you - but you can fix that really easily. No excuses.
