In honor of George Harrison's Birthday and as I promised last night on the Roundtable, here is George Harrison, live in Concert in Baton Rouge Louisiana on November 26, 1974.
This disc has been floating around for several years and is one of the best examples of what George sounded like in the early 70's. I remember this tour very well, and if memory serves me, it was grueling and that probably explains a certain hoarseness in George's voice. But it's a stellar concert and a wonderful reminder of a what a truly superb musician he was.
It's a little over an hour so settle in and turn the speakers up. Birthday weekend continues.
