In South Carolina on Saturday night, thrice-indicted former President Donald Trump lashed out at Special Counsel Jack Smith, mocked his appearance, specifically his face, then pleaded for help again from Republicans.

"In every poll, we are kicking Biden's ass," Trump falsely said. "If I wasn't, I wouldn't be under investigation by deranged Jack Smith. He's a deranged human being. You take a look at that face, and you say that's a sick man, there's something wrong with him," adding, "This guy is a maniac."

From there, the one-term President begged for help from Republicans for his self-inflicted wounds.

"These guys, what they're doing with this election interference, and the Senate has to step up and do something," Trump insisted, even though the investigations were launched before he announced his run.

The House is doing a lot of things," he continued. "But the Senate under perhaps the worst leader in the history of our country running the Senate, Mitch McConnell, has to step up and do something because they have done, they have done, and you have some good ones."

"And that guy right there is trying very hard," he said, perhaps referring to Lindsey Graham. "He's working hard, but they need a lot of other people."

Trump is already in trouble with the Judge and Special Counsel Jack Smith's office for his threat on Truth Social that read, "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!" The former President doesn't think he should be held accountable for his misdeeds. His trial should be interesting.
