According to Rudy Giuliani's attorney Robert Costello, the former NYC mayor is co-conspirator #1 listed in Donald Trump's third indictment, and he seemed a tad bit upset while Newsmax's Eric Bolling interviewed him.
"You know, and Mr. Mayor, four of the six co-conspirators, they again didn't name, but they outlined four, are attorneys," Bolling said.
"Well, If you don't agree with the regime, they tried to disbar you, and they try to imprison you. What does that sound like?" Trump's former bug-eyed attorney said. "Sounds like Communist China to me, not the United States of America."
"Biden has ruined our country," Giuliani insisted. "It's a disgrace What he's done, and I don't care if you hate Donald Trump. This is a violation of his right of free speech. You even have a right to lie under the First Amendment."
"Now, he didn't. The strange thing here is the people lying But the people bringing this and this count they have here, conspiracy against rights. They should be indicted for conspiracy against rights for bringing this indictment. It's a conspiracy against those."
Bolling seems to find it outrageous that Trump attorneys are being scrutinized. Someone should remind him that Nixon's personal attorney, Herbert W. Kalmbach, was sentenced to prison precisely two years after the Watergate break-in.
Also, Trump wasn't indicted for lying. It's what he did with that lie.
"An unprecedented assault on the seat of American democracy," special counsel Jack Smith said. "It was fuelled by lies. Lies by the defendant."
