Send this one to your wingnut relatives so you can watch their heads explode! It's a funny way to make the not-so-funny point: lax gun control laws make life easier for some very shady people:
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence will launch its latest state scorecard ranking all 50 states based on their gun laws. This year’s analysis focuses exclusively on the laws and policies that make it easy for criminals and other dangerous people to buy, carry, and traffic guns. Brady President Dan Gross and Senior National Policy Director Brian Malte will hold a telephonic media briefing to discuss this innovative new approach and the launch of CrimAdvisor.com, the scorecard website, and the accompanying Funny Or Die video, highlighting the best and worst states for criminals to get a gun.
According to the analysis, some of the states with the weakest gun laws that make it easiest for criminals to get guns include Arizona, Alaska, Florida, Louisiana, and Nevada. The states among the “least friendly” to criminals because of their strong gun laws include California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.
