Gov. Chris Christie was back on the stump, I mean he held a press conference today to bath in the glory of his self-serving internal review of the Bridgegate scandal which cleared him completely. Christie was feeling particularly chipper today and chose to start attacking the press again in his usual manner.
His lawyers, I mean his investigation team failed to interview any of the leading players in the Bridgegate scandal so when asked why this happened in the first place, he said he had no idea.
"I don't know if we'll ever know what the motive is," Christie told reporters. "As I said when I was here on Jan. 9, it mystifies me on every level why this was done. And I hope someday to have an answer to why it was done. But I certainly don't have a crystal ball and I can't tell you if or when I'll ever know. But do I hope to after all this? You bet I hope to."
It appears he's the only one mystified by Bridgegate.
How can anyone take his internal investigation seriously?
