Here's a very talented independent artist from Australia that goes by the moniker, Roadgeek. Not only does he write and sing his own songs, but he also produces them, directed and edited the music video, and plays all the instruments. His real name is Michael Shanks, a filmmaker who also pursues music, having released his first album, Sugarloaf, last year. What really blows me away about this guy is the sheer amount of work that he is able to handle while still putting out a quality product. Not only is the music well-produced and paired with a creative music video, but the songs themselves are really good. This album is the freshest-sounding thing I've heard in a while, and its nice to hear this kind of stuff coming from a young, new artist, especially for a first release.
