This one comes to us from a joyful time in the Chili Peppers' history as a band. Guitarist John Frusciante had returned and recorded two albums with them after departing from the group for almost six years. The band was going strong again and pumped out this high-energy number to compliment their new, positive direction. Frusciante would leave the band once again after their next album, but this time on better terms, having overcome his addictions and gone on to create more solo material. Red Hot Chili Peppers released a new album two years ago with guitarist Josh Klinghoffer filling Frusciante's role, but the band gratefully acknowledges John's contributions and how they helped the group to achieve the success that it did.
