(Secret Machines - The Press loves them - the audience is a slow warm)

Something a bit more familiar tonight. Secret Machines have been around for a while, have undergone some personnel changes but are still pretty much on top of their game. They are a screaming critical success, but that hasn't always translated into album sales, and Secret Machines are no different. Some of it may have to do with the current state of the music business and album sales just aren't like they used to be. Radio airplay seems to be a thing of the past, as far as mainstream is concerned. But none of that is preventing Secret Machines from touring and working on new projects and getting the loyal following they've enjoyed for a long time.

The track tonight is off their first album, released in 2004. Nowhere Again is off Now Here Is Nowhere, their first release for Reprise.

At last report they're heading out for another tour this summer. Check out their website for a tour schedule and check them out if you can.

It seems like everybody can use a little support these days.
