(Kasabian - finding gems from humble beginnings)
I usually don't post tracks from bands who are currently huge. I figure they don't need my two cents and you've probably already heard them to pieces anyway . . .so what's the point?
Well . . I happen to like this track a lot. Tonight it's Kasabian. This track, LSF (Lost Souls Forever) is from their first album, released in 2004 which gathered a small and loyal following, moderately good sales, and a tsunami of critical raves. It exploded from there and now they are three albums and a new ep into it and, from all appearances, there is no stopping.
So maybe LSF has been unjustifiably overlooked. I don't actually think it was issued as a single and I'm trying to remember where I first heard it, but I knew I liked it the second I found it and it's stayed with me ever since.
Sometimes it's nice to go back to a bands early days and find some over-looked gems. Just sayin'.
