(Mono Stereo - What Indie/Alt/Shoegaze/Psych from Sweden looks like these days)

It never ceases to amaze - doing the Six Degrees Of Separation experiment on MySpace always yields amazing results. Take one band, click on any band in their Friends section and stumble across fifteen others from all over the world you never heard of. Mono Stereo is a band from Malmo Sweden. I don't really know that much about them, as I just made the discovery less than an hour ago. But I do know they have some pretty impressive material on their MySpace player and this track, A Matter Of Confusion gives you a pretty good idea of what they're all about. I would urge you to check them out and see what else appeals and support them if you can. They have an ep currently available from iTunes and a live ep for free if you sign up for their mailing list. A bargain, if you ask me.

Further evidence music is far from dead - it's just thriving in different places than you'd usually expect.
