Jumping into Soul territory tonight with Bobby Womack and one of the string of classic singles he recorded for the Minit Records label in 1968, What Is This.

Womack has been a legend among Soul, R&B and Gospel fans for a career that has spanned over 50 years. There was a time in the mid 1970's where he took a sudden turn for Country-Western, but that was short lived. He's still going strong today, getting set to release a new album on June 12th, his first since 1994.
