Over to Paris this week for a concert recorded on March 6th and given at the Salle Favart of the famous Opera Comique. Orchestre National de Lyon conducted by one of my all-time favorites Michel Plasson and featuring the international Opera sensation Mezzo-Soprano Beatrice Uria-Monzon in a really wonderful program of music by Faure, Chausson and Schubert.
The concert was recorded by France Musique and as always, is broken up into two parts. Part 1 (the top player) starts off with the Faure Pelleas et Melisande and continues with the Chausson Poeme de l'amour et de la mer, both featuring Beatrice Uria-Monzon. Part 2 (bottom player) features the Bizet Symphony in C major.

Once again, our dose of Anti-Road Rage for a Wednesday will hopefully calm things down a bit.
If not, there's always next week - if you're still seething by then.
