Since we're focusing attention on New Orleans this weekend and the five years since Katrina, I thought I would celebrate some of the happier times New Orleans had. And so I ran across this live concert, recorded live at Mardi Gras in 1975 featuring the legendary Dr. John. The broadcast comes from an FM station in New Orleans and has, intact, a commercial for Barq's Root Beer sung by none other than the Good Doctor himself.
