The long-running television series Law & Order built a set, an "Occupy Wall Street" camp, in FoleySquare, then the real Occupiers arrived.

At 11:30 p.m. the call to occupy the set went out on Twitter with the hash tag #Mockupy. Located at nearby Foley Square, the fake camp includes a replica of the OWS kitchen and library as well as numerous tarps, tents, and signs. "They've delivered us this perfectly wrapped Christmas present with a bow on top: They rebuilt our camp," OWS organizer Jake De Groot told me shortly before the announcement went out. "How could we not go and take it?"
“This feels good,” said one man who led others in a “mic check” at the scene, which was being followed under the hashtags "Mockupy" and "Fauxcotti."
“Law & Order's fake Zuccotti is hilarious," tweeted Christopher Robbins, a reporter at Gothamist who linked to this photo. "The food in the kitchen is real!”
"It's hysterical," remarked someone on the live stream. "Two weeks ago they kicked us out of Zuccotti Park. Now they have this set trying to pretend it’s us. It's odd."
It took police about an hour to clear the set of protesters, and Harkinson's report continues:
A few minutes later, the occupiers regrouped on a nearby set of steps for an impromptu general assembly. "This is beautiful, and this points out to us a more clever way to fight the struggle," someone said, echoed by the people's mic.
"Whose park?" another man yelled.
Everyone knew their lines. "Our park!"
