Joan Jett will release new music for the first time since 2006 with a 10-song album featuring contributions from Dave Grohl and Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!

Unvarnished is due out on October 1st, and will be Jett's 14th studio album with the Blackhearts.

She and the Blackhearts will perform August 8th on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they'll debut the first single from the album, "Any Weather."
