The Heritage Foundation and partners who created Project 2025 are trying to sell their nightmare plan to Americans. The extremist document Project 2025 is almost 900 pages. It is terrifying because of its content but also because the Republican Christian Nationalists felt confident enough to publish it.

Media Matters reported on one of the Project 2025 partners as he tried to spin their authoritarian plan after Louisiana mandated all public schools must post the Ten Commandments. Media Matters noted Family Research Council fellow Joseph Backholm's defense of this breach of America's church and state. Backholm said, "Public schools are religious schools, and that's really what this moment requires us to recognize."

Are public schools religious schools? Really? Watch the Family Research Council's Backholm attempt to sell the GOP plan.
