Famous grifter Steve Bannon hasn't just been successful conning people out of their money -- he's also managed to weasel his way into their faith, making the Mango Man synonomous with God's will. Via Media Matters:

Yep. He is. Of that there's no doubt. There's empirical evidence of that. This is one of the reasons people support him because they understand he’s doing God’s will to save this republic when all rationality said no, let me not do that, they win. Trump wouldn’t do that. Trump would never quit. Trump would never back down and that’s why they hate him and that’s why they must destroy him.
