Donald's Trump favorite parking lot attorney may be in deep trouble with the state bar. I would not be surprised if she is recommended for disbarment, if these claims stand up to scrutiny.
Here is the story. Back in 2021 an employee at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, was allegedly sexually harassed by a supervisor. The employee, named Alice Bianco, was 21-years old and working as a server. She claims that food and beverage manager, Pavel Melichar, sexually harassed her, forcibly kissed her and coerced her into having sex with him.
When Bianco wanted to proceed with a lawsuit, Habba "groomed" her and pretended to be her friend, claiming that she was looking out for her when in actuality she was representing the best interests of the club, Melichar and Donald Trump. That is a BIG no no in the legal profession.
Habba convinced her to sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) that was drafted by Habba's own law firm. In the lawsuit, which is only against Habba, not Melichar or Trump, Biance claims that she did not know that Habba was an attorney for Trump until after the signed the NDA.
In one of the more grotesque sections, Habba allegedly told Biance: "You don't want to go public with this. I've been raped, I can help you, I can protect you." Either Habba lied about her own experience being sexually assaulted as a means of gaining Bianco's trust or Habba is used her victimhood to trick Bianco. Either way, it's bad. Further, Habba allegedly told Bianco that the NDA and the payment would be tax-free, which was not true.
Bianco is not asking for much - an injunction that would block the Trump National Golf Club from enforcing the NDA, a declaration that the NDA is void and a referral of Habba to New Jersey's Office of Attorney Ethics for the litany of ethics violations. She also wants the club to pay her attorneys' fees and costs.
