MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell does only two things in life - spreads The Big Lie and grifts, often at the same time. But now Lindell has doubled down on that.
Recently, Lindell went on Lindell TV and complained that he was broke because of the multiple lawsuits he's facing for spreading The Big Lie and having his credit slashed, and he hit his viewers up for money. Newsweek dutifully reported it.
Lindell then went on Steve Bannon's War Room and complained how the media said he was broke and was a grifter:
"Well, I see all the reports out today," he lamented. "Mike Lindell complains, I don't have any money amid MyPillow woes. They call me a grifter."
"They're attacking MyPillow, saying my employees say that I should have learned my lesson, I shouldn't have kept talking about the election platforms," he added. "And so the media is attacking me in full force."
The pillow executive urged viewers to buy his products so he could have "peace of mind" while he toured states to push his plan to secure elections.
"So if you all can take advantage of the specials we have at MyPillow, so I can have peace of mind that my employees are getting taken care of like you all have," he said.
It's hard to say which is more amazing - that Lindell had the gall to complain about being called a grifter as he's busy grifting or that people are gullible enough to fall for it over and over.
