Don't you love Trump enablers who think they have such a close relationship with God that they know who is going to hell and who is going to heaven? Obviously, anyone we don't like is going straight to hell, right? Clearly. That's Larry Kudlow's thinking, anyway.
Even though Kudlow tied himself to the most polarizing and toxic president of our lifetime who has committed adultery on all his wives, who has been charged with 91 felonies, who has been indicted four times, who has been found liable for sexual abuse -- he's besties with God. And even though Trump incited the Jan. 6 insurrection, he called Rep Matt Gaetz and the Chaos Crew "insurrectionists." He's not wrong, but Trump has to fit in there somewhere.
"They're a bunch of insurrectionists, and they're not gonna go to heaven," he said. "Kevin McCarthy, I've been texting him; he's gonna go to heaven because he's a classy guy, and he wouldn't make a deal with the Democrats, and he saved them from a shutdown."
"He's going to heaven," he added. "These insurrectionists are not going to heaven. I'm not going to say where they're gonna go, but it's not going to be heaven."
That's interesting. It was Democrats who pulled McCarthy over the finish line with the shutdown as they voted with him to avert more catastrophe from Republicans. And to Kudlow, if he worked with Democrats, Jesus wouldn't like that. He is mind-numbingly stupid. Amen?
