The January 6th crowdsourcing group @capitolhunters laid out a pretty devastating timeline for fake electors architect and Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro and his buddy Alex Jones and their activities leading up to the riot at the Capitol that day. As we already discussed here, CNN broke this news Friday, but they didn't go into the sort of detail Capitol Hunters did on their social media feed.
Now that everyone's talking about how Kenneth Chesebro, architect of Trump's fake electors plot, was at the Capitol with Alex Jones on Jan 6, let's think about how bad that is. It is clear that Alex's movements serve the Capitol attack. The crowd was too thin; the MPD arrive and stall the attack. Alex then gets a call to come to the Capitol. Chesebro isn't with Alex in the morning; he connects up with Alex only on Capitol grounds. Once Alex arrives, the NW Scaffolds are taken in a rush. Jones' group round the corner of the Capitol onto the E. Plaza at 2:02 PM, 5 minutes after a group including Proud Boys tore down the barriers. At that point the entire Jones group moves forward partway down the E. Plaza, then abruptly halt again. Chesebro is in the lead, but angles his camera to catch Jones. What Chesebro is doing at the Capitol is fundamentally tied to what Alex Jones is doing there. Why in the hell Jones hasn't been indicted yet is beyond me. I'm hoping Tim Hogan is correct with this comment on the thread above:
1. Chesebro was part of the inner circle. I would expect that Jack Smith can tie him to the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers because it appears he's directing them. He can likely give Trump. And with Proud Boys looking at possible 20-30 year sentences for crimes among which some https://t.co/MLb234sK62
