We’ve long known about Trump’s stomach-churning and sick attraction for Ivanka. But the nausea reached new levels when I read this article about ex-Trump staffer Miles Taylor’s new book, “Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump,” in Newsweek. The article is about Trump’s “naked sexism” writ large but as revolting as his behavior toward professional women he worked with, nothing can compare to what Taylor says about Trump’s behavior with Ivanka:
"Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump's breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter," Taylor writes.
"Afterward, Kelly retold that story to me in visible disgust. Trump, he said, was 'a very, very evil man.'"
Taylor, you may recall, was once Trump’s chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security and the author of an anonymous New York Times op-ed ripping his then-boss in 2018. The Daily Beast points out that Taylor was not a personal witness to that disgusting behavior. Also, TDB writes that Taylor lied repeatedly about not being the author of the Times op-ed.
But what Taylor describes totally fits with both Trump’s public behavior toward Ivanka and the sexual predator we already know him to be. We’ve all seen and heard him boast about grabbing women by the p***y. Also, numerous women have publicly accused him of being a sexual predator. And a New York jury recently found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming journalist E. Jean Carroll.
It's yet another reason why Trump should be forever barred from setting foot in the Oval Office again.
