On Friday evening, Donald Trump's rally in Waco, Texas, was just more of the same as the former President aired his grievances with his lint-licking supporters hanging on every dull word with music in the background playing. It's almost as if he has them brainwashed.
He made the dubious claim that "nobody laughed" at this country during his presidency. Actually, world leaders laughed at him, not the United States.
Then he tore into his potential opponent, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. The one-term President views a possible challenge by DeSantis as disloyal.
Trump has said this before. The former President alleged that DeSantis begged him for his endorsement with "tears in his eyes." He claimed that DeSantis didn't have much money backing him and alleged that the Florida Republican said, "Sir, if you endorse me, I'll win. Please, please, Sir, endorse me."
He needs a new writer. That schtick is getting old:
How much do you want to make a dollar bet that never happened? He'll still run with it, though.
