The Fox News host of Media Buzz finally told his audience that his employers ordered him not to write or talk about the Dominion lawsuit against Fox News.
Since damning text messages and emails between Fox News executives and employees discussing the 2020 election and those involved in trying to overturn it were released, Fox News has been mum on the entire subject.
One program that you would believe would cover it was Howard Kurtz' Media Buzz since it focuses on media criticism. Howie finally fessed up.
"Some of you have been asking why I'm not covering the Dominion lawsuit against Fox involving the unproven claims of election fraud in 2020, and it's absolutely a fair question," Kurtz said.
"I believe I should be covering it, it's a major media story given my role here at Fox, but the company has decided that as part of the organization being sued, I can't talk about it or write about it at least for now," he stated. "I strongly disagree with that decision but as an employee I have to abide by it."
The many complaints (including our own) as to why Howard Kurtz has not discussed the Dominion lawsuit against Fox at all has been answered.
This does make him look pretty foolish, because unless his show is pulled off the air, he will still be critiquing all other media outlets --except his own.
In the past Kurtz was able to comment on Fox News hosts that were in the cross hairs of certain criticisms, so his employers must be very, very, nervous about the Dominion lawsuit.
