It looks like Howie got a whipping from Roger Ailes for his defense of Wes Lowery on Sunday, because he came out with both guns blazing Tuesday night on Bret Baier's show.
According to Howie, the presence of media in Ferguson is driving the protests, because they're inserting themselves into the protests. This, after he defended Lowery on his show (and rightly so).
After going after Al Sharpton and Jake Tapper, Howie claimed that the media presence in Ferguson is "driving a racially polarizing debate," while exonerating Fox News for putting on Big Daddy White Supremacist Mark Fuhrman, because he's totally not polarizing or at all racially divisive.
I liked Brian Stelter's retort to Howie's Twitter concern-trolling. It didn't hurt that Brian is the guy at the helm of Reliable Sources, either. Just made it that much more fun:
