Former one-term President Donald Trump gave a shoutout to Kevin McCarthy now that after 15 voting rounds, he finally garnered enough votes from his own party to elevate himself to Speaker of the House.
Trump thinks he's running the show now. He posted a rant on Truth Social against Mitch McConnell with a bit of racism thrown in. Trump hates McConnell because he called the former president out after he incited a riot to overturn the election.
"Great job Kevin! We must now stop Mitch McConnell and his China flagrant boss, Coco Chow," Trump wrote. "It's as though he just doesn't care anymore, he pushes through anything the Democrats want. The $1.7 TRILLION quickly approved Bill of the week before was HORRIBLE. Zero for USA Border Security. If he waited just ten days, the now "United Republican Congress" could have made it MUCH BETTER, or KILLED IT. Something is wrong with McConnell, and those Republican Senators that Vote with him. PRIMARY THEM ALL!!!"
McCarthy called Trump out, too, after the insurrection, then he went down to Florida to kiss the one-term president's ass. McCarthy knew it was Trump's fault, yet he didn't vote to impeach him.
Let's remember that when Republicans end up calling for President Biden's impeachment. You know they will.
