Former Vice President Mike Pence joins his former boss Donald Trump, and President Joe Biden in having classified documents on their property. A lawyer for former VP Pence discovered about a dozen documents marked as classified at the former Vice President's Indiana home last week. Pence didn't try to keep them as Donald did. Instead, he has turned those classified records over to the FBI.

In November 2022, Pence said he did not take classified documents with him as he left office. During an interview, Pence said there would be "no reason to have classified documents, particularly in an unprotected area."

But wait, there's more.

Here he is saying that he was "extra careful."

It sure sounds like Pence would agree that a special counsel should investigate his handling of classified material. He said the "handling" of classified docs "is a very serious matter."

According to CNN, Pence asked his lawyer to conduct the search of his home out of an abundance of caution. Hence, the attorney started going through four boxes stored at Pence's house last week, finding a small number of documents with classified markings on them.
