Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker told Fox News that his son is part of a left-wing deep-state operation that is smearing him, in order to make him lose the mid-term election.
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade brought on Herschel Walker to give him a fact-free, softball interview. Fox and the rest of the Republican ecosphere are desperate to try and clean up the mess of Walker's campaign.
And that was BEFORE we found out he paid for abortions.
Now that campaign is in panic mode, because of a Daily Beast story and Herschel's own son Christian Walker.
Speaking about Walker's son, "What are you saying about your son, is he telling the truth?" Kilmeade asked.
Walker went on a long-winded and incoherent spiel about loving his son but never commented on Christian Walker's criticisms about his father.
As usual, a Fox News host refuses to dig any deeper into the recent damaging reports and critiques of Walker.
So Kilmeade took a different track. Instead of questioning Walker about his lies or the get-well card he sent to an ex-girlfriend after allegedly paying for her abortion, Kilmeade took an easier, softer approach.
“But he’s doing tremendous damage to you by coming out with those statements. Do you know why he’s saying this?” Kilmeade asked again.
“Well, the damage he’s doing is letting people know that the Left will do whatever they can to win this seat," Walker said.
Can you imagine calling your own son a left-wing plant, a stooge who will go to any lengths to hurt his chances in the upcoming election?
Walker then spewed nonsense about being "redeemed," but never said why he needed redemption.
"And I told you when I got in this race, I’m gonna win this seat. People see someone sitting here in front of you right now that’s been redeemed. I want America to know I’m living proof you can make mistakes and get up and keep going forward, but you can only do it in this country here and we can only do it if we get this election correct come November," he said.
Walker then claimed Senator Rafael Warnock is beyond redemption and can never be redeemed.
What exactly does Pastor Warnock need to be redeemed from? And who appointed Herschel Walker to have the power to bestow that honor?
Was the Georgia Senator accused of violently attacking and threatening to kill his wife on two occasions, once while he held a gun to her head and once holding a razor to her throat?
Did you Georgia Senator claim dissociative identity disorder? You know, the revamped Sybil affliction?
Did you Georgia Senator make believe he was an actual CIA agent?
Did the Georgia Senator criticize absentee fathers, while never acknowledging the three children he fathered out of wedlock?
By the way, Christian Walker is pure MAGA and not a leftie.
Christian — who describes himself as a "free-speech radicalist" on his Twitter bio — has gained fame for his outspoken pro-MAGA videos. In some videos, he echoes the baseless claims of former President Donald Trump in alleging that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
Christian, who is openly gay, is a loyal Trump fan, and led a Gays for Trump march in West Hollywood in 2020.
Lie lie lie.
That's all Republicans have to run on.
Walker is a sad man that should never hold public office.
