Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robbin' Vos probably is wishing that he had never even heard of Donald Trump and Mike Gableman and that both of them would just go away and stay away already.
Vos, as we already know, hired Gableman to do a sham fraudit on the elections to appease TFG. What he wasn't counting on was Gableman coming out with the recommendation of overturning the election even though there was no evidence of impropriety and the fact that it wasn't legal to just overturn an election.
Because Vos wouldn't do what he couldn't do, TFG threw one of his tantrums and endorsed Adam Steen, a relatively unknown MAGA candidate who was running in the primary against Vos. To make matters worse for Vos, Gableman bit the hand that feeds him and also endorsed Steen.
When TFG came to Wisconsin on Friday to rally for Tim Michels, whom he endorsed for governor, he threw some more dirt on Vos and again supported Steen. During Tuesday's primary election. Steen came damn near to pulling it off too. Vos won the primary, but his victory of margin was less than 300 votes.
It should be noted that much like TFG, Steen still hasn't conceded the election. It would not be surprising if accusations and a demand for a recount soon started flying.
Immediately after the election was finalized, Vos started venting his anger on Gableman, calling him "an embarrassment to the state." Vos then took it another step further into the sublime by trying to put the entire blame on Gableman:
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to @Kentwainscott on Michael Gableman: "We asked two simple things - don't get involved in politics and please try to make sure you focus on the investigation, not being on TV. He couldn't help himself."

Vos' attack is completely implausible since Vos hired Gableman, was supposed to oversee Gableman's work and paid Gableman $11,000 per month for over a year. Vos has also been dragged over concrete in courts of law for his lack of oversight and lack of transparency and hit with huge fines because of the fraudit.
Unsurprisingly, Republican insiders are saying that Gableman is going to be relieved of his duties in the near future.
But the truly outrageous part of this who debacle is the fact that the Democrats could not come up with one candidate to run in this district, meaning that Vos is going to get away with it with no repercussions and facing no consequences.
But it wasn't until now that Vos finally realized something might not be on the up and up? For just that alone, Vos proves himself to be unqualified for any office.
