Former President Donald Trump told so many 'sir stories' while in office that someone even created a searchable database to locate them. None of them, of course, are believable. My favorites are the ones with big strong men with tears in their eyes, thanking Trump for helping them.
"Sir, President Obama took our heart away, took our life away.' I'll never forget it. A man, strong guy, had tears in his eyes. He said, "You gave us back our life," is one example.
Last night, Eric Trump told a story during an appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News show. Eric said that two people tried to buy him dinner to apologize for how America has treated his family.
"They are not even talking about any other Republican candidates because they have all kind of disappeared; they are not even in the equation," he said.
"Last night, I had an argument between two people who were trying to buy Lara [his wife] and I [SIC] dinner to apologize for what the United States Government has done to our family," he added.
"You wouldn't believe the energy out there; I have been through all of these firestorms over the years, I have never seen America more mad than it is right now," he added.
Yeah, that never happened. No one is buying it.
Yep:
As for Republicans being energized ever since a search warrant was executed on Mar-a-Lago, a pro-Trump protest in front of the FBI’s Washington, D.C. headquarters was a massive flop on Sunday when no one showed up. Not one person. So much energy!
Does he really think we would believe that two random people in a restaurant were fighting over who could pay for his meal because his father has been treated so unfairly? Take your pity party, and shove it, Eric.
