Karoli adds: Watch this thread for updates on results as they come in, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING that we are unlikely to have full results from states tonight because of the turnout this year.
5:00 PM UPDATE: States called for BIDEN: MA, MD, VT, DE and the District of Columbia
States called for TRUMP: OK, IN, KY
Biden has a nice lead banked in Ohio right now, and Florida is a tossup. It could go either way.
6:30 PM UPDATE
AP Calls right now:
BIDEN: 122 EV
TRUMP: 92 EV
7:00 PM
AP Calls:
BIDEN: 131
TRUMP: 98
It looks like Lindsey Graham will hold his seat. Cory Gardner lost his to John Hickenlooper. Arizona is looking strong, Ohio is razor-thin.
And I will repeat: MANY MANY VOTES ARE NOT COUNTED.
UPDATE 7:45 PM
As predicted, we're not going to know how this goes tonight. There are too many votes to count and most of the uncounted votes in the swing states are in the heavily populated centers.
It's possible we'll know more in the morning.
UPDATE 8:00 PM
The West Coast polls have closed and all states were called for Biden.
AP Totals: Biden: 209 Trump: 112
Arizona looks strong.
Mark Kelly wins the Senate seat in Arizona!
