Van Morrison's third studio album, Moondance, was released fifty years ago this week. It is an album that is permanently ingrained into my brain is it is one of my mom's favorite albums and has been since 1970.

The album is chocked full of classics (as many of Van's LP's are) but "Caravan" is a personal favorite from it.
