Some Irish music you say? My Bloody Valentine formed in Dublin in 1983. The sound of their 2nd album, 1991's Loveless, has been lauded by which one critic called "virtual reinvention of the guitar." Costing over £250,000 to produce when all was said and done, the album also led its parent label, Creation Records, to go bankrupt.
