Donald Trump likes to tout the "black unemployment numbers" as some sort of credible evidence he's working for the benefit of people of color, which he surely is not. During his speech last night, the Congressional Black Caucus was not fooled, and Fox News was not pleased, particularly Martha McCallum.

"The partisan divide in this was really evident throughout the entire speech," she said. "He talked about unity, but Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and company, they basically sat on their hands. They scowled through most of this speech tonight."

I would like to interrupt the white blonde lady to tell you that this is not news to those of us who sat through all of President Obama's State of the Union addresses and watched Republicans sit in stony silence for the entire time.

McCallum was especially miffed at the Congressional Black Caucus, for their lack of gratitude for the white hero or something. "The African-American unemployment number, which he has touted a lot, lowest in history, the members of the Black Caucus did not get up and applaud for that either," she groused.

Here's a clue as to why they didn't applaud, Fox News.

But you keep being the scolds you are. Your audience depends on it.
