Rush Limbaugh's newest defense to excuse Roy Moore's sexual predation towards young girls is that it doesn't count because at the time of the incidents being reported, he was "a Democrat."
Republicans supporting "alleged" pedophile Roy Moore have come up with the most bizarre rationales to justify their support of this odious man, including equating his sex crimes to "smoking pot" and "stealing a lawnmower".
Alabama State Auditor Jim Zeigler went as far as to tell the Washington Examiner, “Also take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus.”
On Fox News Outnumbered this week, co-host Kennedy was horrified to learn that Christian conservatives were saying this, and called it bastardization of scripture.
Now Limbaugh joins in the fun and it's just as moronic as all the rest.
Rush is upset that Republicans in Congress are trying to turn away his beloved Moore, suggesting that if he wins he won't "be seated in the U.S. Senate."
Rush said, "Did you now that before 1992, when a lot of this was going on, Judge Moore was a Democrat? You didn't know that?"
"Nobody said a word. When he supposedly was attracted to inappropriately-aged girls, he was a Democrat."
You know, that's really going to mess up those Alabamians who were happy to vote for a pedophile AS LONG AS he wasn't a Democrat. Rush might want to re-think this defense.
Besides, what happens when there's an inevitable revelation of Moore continuing his teen-chasing after he switched parties?
