Donald Trump has renewed his calls for Congress to investigate news outlets that he feels are not sympathetic to him.
Dear Fox and Friends, this doesn't apply to you since you've become a state sponsored propaganda program for Trump.
His latest hissy-fit on the media was fueled by the Senate Intel Committee, which held a presser on Wednesday and did not clear the Trump administration of colluding with the Russians to win the 2016 presidential election.
Chairman Burr said it was still "an open question."
He's also been furious over an NBC report that had Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling Trump a "f**king moron."
Trump's constant claims of "fake news" have had ramifications throughout our country and turned his rabid hardcore base (35%) against any type of news outlets except Fox News and things they get from their friends on Facebook. CNN debunked one of their most ridiculous claims that Charlottesville was a false flag operation.
But Trump's attacks on the free press have been going on since he began his presidential campaign.
Back on February 26th, 2016, he said, "'I'm Going To Open Up Our Libel Law' To Sue Media
He continued this call in October of 2016: Donald Trump Wants Libel Laws Changed To Sue The Press
Just as bad, in January of this year, Trump called for both the House and Senate Intelligence committees to investigate NBC News because their reporting made him look weak.
In May of 2017, former press secretary Sean Spicer admitted,"The Trump administration has "looked at" the possibility of changing libel laws to allow them to sue The New York Times.
Remember, Trump banned many journalists from covering him because he didn't think they were positive enough for him.
And right now, Fox News has been running an active smear campaign against CNN, MSNBC and all other news outlets by saying they don't like Trump.
Fox and Friends attacked MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, and attack CNN as fake news almost everyday - led by major league suck-up Pete Hegseth.
Hegseth was rewarded with a one-on-one interview with Trump for his loyalty.
Tucker Carlson is also using his pomposity to bash the media: CNN Is Whipping People Into Racial Frenzy
Sean Hannity has become unhinged over Rachel Maddow's success and has focused his caustic venom on her.
Trump is ripping this country apart and his media apologists are loving every minute of it.
