After Ari Fleischer told the crew at Fox News' "Outnumbered," he understood why Democrats would want to discuss their solution to the problems of mass shootings, Lisa Boothe opined that they are "the worst of society" for doing so.
During Tuesday's the crew spent some time discussing the Massacre in Las Vegas, and co-host Harris Faulkner asked why politicians don't talk about issues of gun safety when there isn't a crisis. They do but Fox never listens, Harris.
She got particularly upset because Minority leader Chuck Schumer asked Trump to convene a Congressional meeting on “some rational laws on gun safety.”
Faulkner said, "Senator Schumer has just called on President Trump to bring together congressional leaders on gun safety at this point. He wants to have that happen today. The president is headed to Las Vegas. I just scream politics when I see stuff like this, like is Chuck Schumer paying attention to what the actual facts are right now and what needs to happen?"
How dare Chuck want to discuss how to make America safer.
Fleischer, who is the #OneLuckyGuy and is against gun control understood why Schumer would do so.
Ari said, "I do understand the human nature that says after a calamity, let's think about how do we prevent it from happening again."
He continued, "I'm not willing to say it's all politics. I just think people are right and people are wrong on what the solution is. People have a right to claim let's try to do it."
However, Lisa Boothe would have none of it and painted the Democratic party as horrible villains, while casting the people in Las Vegas as heroes who are blithely ignoring any discussion of gun safety.
Boothe said, "In the wake of Vegas, politicians, particularity on the left are showing us the worst of society and it's the everyday Americans on the ground there that show us the best of society, helping people they don't know."
It's weird since neither is at odds with each other, but this is what pundits like Boothe do. No matter what, they have to smear liberals as not only wrong, but evil as well. Anything to divide us from each other.
"We saw Gofundme pages for the victims, raising $684,000 in four hours, hundreds of people lining up and down the streets to give blood, so in some respects, those politicians have shown us the worst and the average Americans have shown us the best."
What one has to do with the other is beyond me, but in the conservative punditry class, there is no thought as to why Paddock had a machine gun at his fingertips to reign hell down on country music fans.
And discussing ways to make America safer when it comes to gun violence and mass murder is the equivalent to morphing into the snake that gave Eve the apple to chew on.
