This morning Rex Tillerson held a presser to push back against an NBC report that said he was going to resign this past summer. He also didn't refute calling the president a f'n moron.
And Rex's non-denial denials were unconvincing even to the ladies of the "Outnumbered" crotch couch.
NBC News reported that Tillerson was furious with Trump's speech to the Boy Scouts as was I.
After playing a clip from Tillerson's presser, co-host Sandra Smith asked #OneLuckyGuy, Guy Benson, his reaction to the story.
Benson said he thought the press conference was "an audience of one" named Trump.
Benson said, "He took what was sort of an interesting gossipy story and blew it up into a much bigger story by calling a news conference to talk about it - and the reason he did it is because I think he wanted to signal directly to the president that he is loyal."
Surprisingly Sandra then questioned Tillerson's sincerity.
Smith replied, "Let me get this out of the way. He [Rex] did not directly address the use of that particular word and say 'no, I did not say that.' He just said he would not address these petty things."
Harris Faulkner, a Trump loyalist said, "You could make the argument that he is managing up. That's what I hear you saying, but the one thing he didn't do was kind of manage across-the-board, the comment with 'no, I didn't say that,' which would completely refute whether or not it was actually said."
Of course, you did get some of the necessary Trump apology rhetoric from the panel, including the very funny take by Katie Pavlich who opined about their policy differences.
"They're on the same page. They're just working in different ways," Pavlich said.
Hahaha. Oh, I get it.
"Just because they're having differences doesn't mean they're at odds and just because they have different messages publicly doesn't mean they're not on the same page privately."
Can you understand that babble?
