Governor 'Gollum' Rick Scott will take a meeting with the presumptive Republican nominee today, but he insists he is not a contender in the GOP Veepstakes.
Yet, I can think of no better candidate to stand side by side with Donald Drumpf than the corrupt Medicare thief Rick Scott. Can you?
Scott insists that he asked for the meeting to discuss the way he won in 2014, because Florida apparently only has white bigots living there, and Scott will explain how to round up all of them for a Drumpf vote.
When Wolf Blitzer identified the elephant in the room -- who will Drumpf's running mate be -- Scott was coy.
Wolf pressed harder, asking Scott if he would turn over tax returns and documents to be more fully vetted.
"I'll say no, Wolf," Scott insisted. "I've worked hard to get this job and I'm going to make sure this is the number one place in the world for jobs, public education, and safety."
Sure he'll say no. Sure he will. I still think he's got to be on the top of Drumpf's list. As for the tax returns, if Drumpf won't supply his, why would Governor Gollum?
