As usual, Donald found himself in the position of having to defend his indefensible lies about Hillary Clinton's email server.
During his speech earlier this week, he claimed, "Her server was easily hacked by foreign governments, perhaps even by her financial backers in Communist China."
Except there is no evidence of foreign hackers to her server. In fact, while foreign hackers were hard at work hacking the official Department of State servers, Clinton's seems to have survived attempts.
When he was pressed on the point, Trump defended his lie by saying, "I think I read it and I heard it and somebody also gave me that information."
Kudos to CNN for their pushback in this report, where they point out that this is Trump's preferred mode of operation. He never has proof for his claims, just pushes them out there under "Cokie's Law." And then hey! It's out there.
We have a candidate for the highest office in the land who feasts daily on World Nut Daily, Breitbart News, and the Drudge Report, and then conveniently forgets which lie factory he relied upon to craft his bullshit.
Since he's supposedly trying to "pivot" (whatever that means), perhaps one of his expensive advisors could recommend some more advanced reading material. And a good fact-checker.
