Update: the image on this post has been corrected to a picture of Kenny Havard. Earlier post had an incorrect image; we regret the error.

Republicans are such jokesters. Especially smartass Republicans from Louisiana, apparently.

Representative Kenneth (Kenny) Havard thought it would be funny to add some language to a bill prohibiting establishments from hiring dancers under age 21 where alcohol was served.

According to online records, Rep. Kenneth E. Havard proposed an amendment that would also also limit employees to be "between twenty-one and twenty-eight years of age and shall be no more than one hundred and sixty pounds in weight."

I guess he has very specific preferences when it comes to his strippers. He withdrew the rider before the vote, and the bill passed.

Actually, it was just all about government regulation. Havard must like his strippers younger than 21 so much he made a funny.

Kenner Rep. Julie Stokes described the amendment as "utterly disrespectful and disgusting."

Havard said the amendment was a commentary on over-regulation, not aimed at women.

Of course it was aimed at women. Most men weigh more than 160 when they're in perfect condition. it was all about women.

Har-dee-har-har.
