The Trump campaign's plans of unleashing a more rational and presidential-like Trump, flew out the window today.
During a campaign rally, he went on a rampage over "Lyin' Ted and John Kasich forming an alliance against him.
"It's collusion! You know, if you collude in business or in the stock market, they put you in jail. But in politics, because it is a rigged system, a corrupt enterprise, you are allowed to collude. And actually I am happy because It shows how weak they are, how pathetic they are...
Later on in the same Rhode Island rally, he turned his ire on Kasich's eating habits, which are easily mocked, except if you're trying to act "presidential."
"Did you see him? He has a news conference all the time when he's eating. I have never seen a human being eat in such a disgusting fashion," Trump said.
He continued, "I'm always telling my young son..all of them, I'd say, 'children, small, little bites.' This guy takes a pancake and he's shoving it in his mouth. It's disgusting. Do you want that for your president? I don't think so."
"Honestly, it's disgusting."
The Business Insider quoted Kasich's campaign manager saying, "Kasich's chief strategist, John Weaver, told Business Insider in an email that he "didn't see any pancakes" at Kasich's Monday diner stop."
