Senator Harry Reid joined Joy Reid on MSNBC's AM Joy and discussed Donald Trump at length.
Sen. Reid began the interview by saying, "I'm a student of politics, I've never, ever on a local level, state level, I have never ever seen a more flawed candidate than Donald Trump"
He continued, "...this is a scary thing, that around 87% of Republicans polled think he's great. If I, or anyone of my members in caucus had said one, or done one of the things he has done, they'd be gone. but him, people expect the worst, cause he's the worst"
And Senator Reid didn't get any nicer as the interview continued. He bashed Trump's business moxie by saying he hasn't succeeded in much of anything and labeled the Donald as a "phony."
"He won't show anybody what his source of income. He says he's worth ten billion dollars, that the same lie he tells about everything else."
"There's not enough money in the world to elect Donald Trump."
Joy Reid then turned towards Trump's refusal to release his tax returns when she asked, "What does that say to you, he is refusing to release his taxes?"
Reid responded, "...I agree wholeheartedly with Mitt Romney, and that is Donald Trump can't escape this, giving us his income tax returns. This has been going on for sixty or seventy years, you have to show people your source of income. He can't do that. He's buried all the different bankruptcies he's filed, all different lawsuits cause he's allegedly cheated, so he's got to give information on Trump University...he's just sold his name. I think Donald Trump is as shallow as the rivers that don't exist in Nevada."
