During Thursday night's CNN GOP presidential debate, Jake Tapper asked Trump if he wanted to clarify his position that "Islam hates us," but Trump refused to back off his position and reiterated that many of the world's 1.6 billion Muslims really do hate us

TAPPER: Mr. Trump, let me start with you. Last night, you told CNN quote, "Islam hates us?" Did you mean all 1.6 billion Muslims.

TRUMP: I mean a lot of them. I mean a lot of them.

TAPPER: Do you want to clarify the comment at all?

TRUMP: Well, you know, I've been watching the debate today. And they're talking about radical Islamic terrorism or radical Islam. But I will tell you this. There's something going on that maybe you don't know about, maybe a lot of other people don't know about, but there's tremendous hatred. And I will stick with exactly what I said to Anderson Cooper.

As a president, even George Bush knew this was patently wrong and is a very foolish postion to hold since we have many allies in the middle east that are Muslim and do support us.

In a Republican primary it is now a requirement to make sure conservative supporters understand how much a candidate hates all Muslims and the religion of Islam. And they have the nerve to talk about religious freedom.
