January 5, 2016

As President Obama gave a press conference discussing his executive actions on gun safety, he welled up with tears when he listed the men, women, the young and the innocent that have been taken from the world through gun violence and domestic terrorism. The president started crying when he got to the children of Newtown, the most horrific massacre of all mass shootings to date.

Obama: And from first graders in Newton....first graders....and from every family who never imagined that their loved one would be taken from our lives by a bullet, from a gun. Every time I think about those kids, it gets me mad, And by the way, it happens on the streets of Chicago every day.
