Lindsey Graham Smacks Down John Kasich's Middle East 'Judeo-Christian Agency' Idea
November 20, 2015

All week I've been writing about all the kokame ideas Republicans have been coming up with since the Paris attacks and let me tell you it's neither pretty or invigorating. Gov. John Kasich came up with something so ridiculous that Sen. Lindsey Graham had to put him in his place.

In a speech Tuesday at the National Press Club in Washington, Ohio Gov. John Kasich called for a coalition army, similar to Graham’s plan. But he also pushed a more novel idea: a government agency established to win a “battle of ideas” in Russia, China and the Middle East by broadcasting “Judeo-Christian values.”

Yes, let's broadcast Pat Robertson and Robert Jeffress to the entire region and I'm sure that'll turn the Middle East right around and back on our side in a jiff.

LIndsey went to the history books because you know they are helpful tools when engaging with the rest of the world, and he made an astute observation that most of these wackadoos seem incapable of making.

“I don’t think we should be promoting Judeo-Christian values in the Arab world,” Graham said. “I think that was the Crusades.”

Did I miss something or was George Bush's two wars predicated on turning the Middle East into an Evangelical haven, or was it to have them eat freedom fries with their elections?
