Fox News' legal expert, Judge Napolitano shocked Gretchen Carlson by telling her that complaining governors have no authority to stop the influx of Syrian refugees. Her one word response was priceless because it seemed like she expected the judge to tell her that Obama was committing another felony offense.
Carlson: Something is upsetting. A growing revolt by state governors, at least thirty now, I think it's thirty one. They're opposing the federal plan to send Syrian refugees into their communities...So judge, the legality of this are what?
Napolitano: The governors have no say in this.
Carlson: What?
Napolitano: Yes, because of a 2005 statute, in which Congress gave the president (Bush) unlimited authority, meaning numerical unlimited. Says he wants to bring 75k, he can change that number on his own, ability to bring people in from other countries for humanitarian reasons or political asylum, reasons
He went on to use Gov. Christie as an example and explained that he has no power to stop anyone at all, even children from entering the country as political refugees since he's been screaming about it on the political stump.
