American Renaissance leader Jared Taylor has once again popped up like a bad penny to explain why white supremacists love Donald Trump.

Speaking to Alan Colmes Monday, Taylor gave Trump big props for his views on anchor babies and immigration.

Monday on “The Alan Colmes Show,” Alan spoke with American Renaissance founder Jared Taylor, who has written numerous commentaries on why Donald Trump is the only candidate that would be “good for white people.”

Taylor told Alan why he thinks the “anchor baby” system is crazy, why assimilating so many different cultures into America is “difficult,” and why he thinks that most of white society in America just wants other races to leave them alone.

Jared Taylor is the go-to guy when white supremacists want to serve a heaping pile of bigotry with some sugar to make it taste better.

SPLC has a lovely collection of quotes from him. Here's one:

"Blacks and whites are different. When blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western civilization — any kind of civilization — disappears."
— American Renaissance, 2005

AlterNet goes into some depth over why white supremacists love Trump so much.

The grim reality is the GOP doesn’t need minority votes to win. Trump knows it. The Republican party knows it. And the media knows it but is too busy feigning outrage - and holding to the myth of “courting Hispanics” - to point out this political reality. Indeed, the GOP doesn’t need a “big tent”, it just needs a bigger tent - preferably one armed to the teeth with racists and subsidized by billionaires.

More and more, this dynamic is on display among Trump’s white nationalists supporters, who, over the past couple of weeks have been coming out of the closet -- showing up at rallies and lending their passionate support. Alone, these incidents could be written-off as nut-picking, but when added up - and coupled with Trumps inability to speak out against these excesses (if not sometimes embracing them) - it's a serious trend that should frightened anyone concerned for the future of already teetering republic.

So we finally come to an understanding of what the strategy is for 2016. Pick off some white supremacists here, some Christian fundies over there -- all white, of course -- and hope to win with white people and white people alone.

Of course, that assumes that all white people, in their heart of hearts, are so afraid of Black and Brown people that they will fall into lockstep with the likes of Jared Taylor.

Good luck with that, GOP.
