White Supremacist Offers Expertise On Concerns About 'Black On White Rape' Fears

If you've followed Dave Neiwert's reports about white supremacists, you should recognize the name Jared Taylor, the pseudo-intellectual white supremacist who runs American Renaissance and helps far-right racists like Ron Paul justify their untenable positions this way:

What Paul never explained was that one of the primary sources for this information about black crime came from Jared Taylor, the pseudo-academic racist whose magazine American Renaissance was at the time embarked on a long series of tirades on the subject (the June 1992 issue was primarily devoted to the subject; the statistic claiming that 85 percent of black men in D.C. have been arrested appears in theAugust issue), the culmination of which was Taylor's later book, The Color of Crime,which made similarly unsupportable claims about blacks.

Jared Taylor has a way of popping up like a bad penny whenever a racist takes a gun and shoots people. Generally those associations are leading indicators of his leadership in the white supremacy arena, like the reports about how the Nevada cop shooters emulated him and Alex Jones, or how James O'Keefe and Andrew Breitbart had past associations with him.

But now Taylor is just striking right out on his own pre-emptively, with a press release warning that there will be more violence because white folks are afraid. We have come to a point in our nation's race relations where a vowed white supremacist is offering his services to media outlets to "discuss" the situation.

Why did a young white man kill black churchgoers? Nothing justifies this horrible crime, but a survivor reports that suspect Dylann Storm Roof said, “You rape our women and you are taking over our country.”

Roof may have acted on little-known but well-substantiated statistics about black-on-white violence. Most years, there are about 10,000 cases of black-on-white rape and fewer than 1,000 cases of whites raping blacks. This means any given black person is many, many times more likely to rape a white than the other way around. Of all the violent crimes involving blacks and whites, about 85 percent are committed by blacks against whites and only 15 percent by whites against blacks.

It may be that Roof reacted murderously not merely to interracial rape but to the fact that there is media silence on this subject. Perhaps he might not have gone over the edge if he thought there was some official notice or concern about black-on-white violence.

Blacks are obviously not taking over the United States, but Roof is probably reacting not only to Barrack Obama’s presidency but also to the rapidly declining percentage of whites in the national population. It is historically unprecedented for a majority population voluntarily to accept minority status. Roof may not be the only deranged white who will react violently to what some see as dispossession.
